New luxe owner w/questions
I'm about to be the proud owner of 2 luxes, i was talked into them by my local field. I have a 2.0 dynasty luxe, and a 1.0 w/2.0 bolt, and NDZ bolt/sprung guide w/new Rhino spring on their way to me. I've currently been going through threads trying to learn as much as i can since my local stores call me crazy for buying luxes over g6r's. Anyway, my question is what can i expect, and what should i look for as far as possible problems?
I already learned about the possible breach problem, and got pictures of both breaches which have no wear at all.
Thank you in advance for any and all advice given.
Evans

Take the FT screws out of both. It will save you immense trouble going forward when you have to replace o rings and whatnot. I run everything at stock on my 2.0 and don't have any trouble, DLX makes a great product, can't complain.
Edit: manifold 1.5 turns in from flush seems to be what works best for the most amount of people. And I'm sure you know this, but they are spool valves, don't be mad when you get 7-8 pods off a 68/45 lol.

Agreed. I love how a Luxe shoots with the FT in.

I'll probably leave them in, was told that taking them out could cause some problems...not sure how true that is, but the 1.0 is a 1 of 5 custom anno'd, and lord knows i don't want that messed up. lol

Don't fix what isn't broken and you'll be fine.
Just make sure you do your preventative maintenance after you play. I.e. wipe off old lube and relube, make sure your o-rings are well greased, battery is charged and you should have no issues.

Shops will often give you suggestions that are good but geared towards their profits. If you would have bought a g6r you probably would have been happy with it, and the shop would probably had made the most profit from it. It doesn't mean gfr is "better" than Luxe.
