I would argue that the PSP has consistently better venues. At least for the players sake. The only venue the NPPL has that might be better is HB, and again, as a player, and competitor, HB brings nothing of value as far as actually playing the game. I'd rather not play on turf over sand, I'll take real grass fields over that every time.
As far as name branding goes…like the previous poster said, that would require the NPPL to actually have a better brand and reputation. As far as I can tell, the general consensus seems to be that the PSP (and PBA) has a better brand and reputation than the NPPL. The NPPL's aura of celebrity players and matches, and high-end, prestigious stadium venues has worn off to seem like nothing more than a gimmick or novelty.
I fail to see anything the NPPL has to offer, except for possible valuable contacts for marketing to entities outside of the paintball industry. Any value in those contacts is also depreciating with time, as the PSP and PBA get larger and more successful.
