I purchased a ninja dura tank with a standard pro reg (born this month; 2/13) and it arrived today. First thing I did was remove the shims regulating the output pressure of the tank as my marker requires LP. As I was walking down stairs I noticed a slight rattling sound. I checked the shim stack around the piston and everything was snug and appeared to be in its proper place. Nothing I can see appears to be rattling in the bottom half of the reg when the bonnet is off and I shake the tank gently but I can still hear it. When I listened closer it seemed to be coming from around the gauge. I thought it might be the needle so I gently shook the tank while watching the gauge carefully and the needle didn't budge. Anyone have any similar problems? And if so any fixes? Does it affect performance? I'm kinda stumped as are some of the more knowledgable people I've asked about this.

Thanks for the info! I thought it was probably nothing but wanted to air on the side of caution just in case. 4500 pounds of pressure isn't anything to mess with or be unsure about.

i was just browsing the forums to look up info on that rattling noise on my new Ninja tank that i bought yesterday. My old tank from 07 does not have that rattle so i got worried, thx for posting that vid Gio24Dude!
