Small LPR oring installation for DM7

Alright so I changed all the orings on the LPR because they looked like they had some wear on them. Everything was fine besides one oring in particular which took me about 30 minutes to get out. I don't know how to explain it that well but it was the smallest oring in the body of the LPR which on the outside is made up of 4 orings. According to the manual, It's called (Piston small o-ring (006 UR90)

Considering how long it took to get the oring out, I'm having even more trouble getting the oring back in and I'm looking for help. I've tried using 2 toothpicks on opposite sides to push it into place but I'm having no type of luck

I use a the eraser end of a pencil.
Sturdy enough to provide enough pressure to push it in without damaging the oring.
