Hey guys so I recently picked up a used 68/45 tank. It has a crossfire reg on a tank that isnt labeled. Im unsure how to tell if it is HPA or LPA. I am thinking about upgrading my marker to a G6r in the future, so Im trying to figure out if I need to get a new tank or not before doing so. Thanks!

Pretty sure if the reg is red it is HP and blue is LP. I could be wrong though.

The reg is all black, no blue or red on it actually. Any idea what that is?

I think that the black ones are 3000 PSI regs, most likely output at HP. If you don't want to contact Crossfire, use a reg tester. Basically, an ASA with a gauge in the hole.

The silver ones were HP only and for the 3k systems.
The black ones are the stealth regs. They came HP output usually and could be converted to LP. Only thing is that when you get the LP kit the crossfire logo sticker that comes with it is blue. And if the user doesn't remove the standard black/white one and put the blue/white one on, you can't tell.
Unless you make a pressure tester out of an asa and 1000 psi gauge and see what the tank is outputting at. That's one way to do it without getting all crazy with pulling things apart.

The tank came from me, and I answered the question for him, but I'll provide it here for anyone else with the same questions.

Tabris is correct: If the reg comes from Crossfire direct (and this only applies to Crossfire regs), there is a blue sticker for LP and a black sticker for HP outputs. Crossfire does sell a conversion kit Link that as you can see, also comes with the blue sticker. In this case, I had not adjusted that tank and it was still set to HP.
