Hey guys,
Having a weird problem with my ninja pro reg.
Standard output reg with all shims removed.
No matter how tight I tighten down the set screws (all 6 are torqued pretty well) the reg will spin around the silver coller. There is a little resistance but not much. What should i do to remedy this situation?

Thanks, Connor

Is it just the bonnet or is it the collar rotating? If you tighten the set screws enough, that will lock the bonnet or the collar down. Never heard of tightening the screws and having the reg still "spin" in either place.

Just want to make sure it doesn't blow off.

I screwed my tank onto my axe and for some reason it just wouldn't come off. It was so tight I had to remove the reg off the axe and the top of the tank off and then unscrew it with pliers. Any who, as seen in the picture (under the adjustment ring), the tank turns a very slight amount around this area. I would say about a 1mm movement back and forth, that's it. I just want to make sure that it won't blow off as I air it up.

I've been blowing burst disks on my old corsair regs so I decided to pick up a ninja ultralite for my tank, however in cleaning the tank's threads, some debris fell into it. I'm pretty sure I got most of it out if not all using canned air. However since there's only one "hole" it's hard to tell if I got everything out.

What would you guys typically do to make sure there's no junk in a tank? Cheers

Its tough to say without actually seeing what kind of damage was done to the reg. Call us at 877-646-5287 and anyone that answers can give you an RA# to ship it to us to inspect.

Hi djzapz. I would try shining a flashlight down into the cylinder to look inside and make sure everything is out. You use the same method we use to blow debris out so you should be good but we also use a light inside the cylinder to double check.

What type of damage "could have" been done? I had about 1000 left in it when I couldn't get it off so I shot it completely dry and then unscrewed the three bonnet screws and had the axe reg and bonnet in my hand.

I have no idea JJ.

JJ., this is almost like calling a mechanic and asking "Hey, my car is making this noise. what could it be?"

We need to see it to let you know what might have occurred. I dont want to make any assumptions without seeing it first. Call us and we'll see what we can do to help you out. Anyone that answers will be able to assist you with getting you an RA# to send it in.

Quick question. Will Ninja be at living legends and be swapping out tanks with cracked coatings?

in the standard ninja reg, if the two red shims are removed the pressure is approximately 500psi correct? how much of a psi change does removing a silver shim do? This is for a vcom so below 500 is my goal.

I would like to know this as well. I have a standard ninja reg with only two silver shims. I think the red ones were removed at some point. Do I need to keep both silver shims in for 500-550 and one silver for 450?

I have had my dura 77 tank for about 2 months now and over the past month I've noticed it losing the matte/dust feel. It is now almost completely smooth and am I not to happy about that because one of the sole reasons for buying the tank was the feel. Just wondering if there is a way to get this problem resolved.

They are not swapping out tanks at events. You will need to go to the warranty link on the website and send the tank in.

From manual of Standard and Ultralite Adjustable

Remove 1 red shim approximate output 650 PSI

Remove 2 red shims approximate output 500 PSI

If i remember correct Silvers are roughly 50psi each give or take a bit.

you must click this link and follow the instructions to have the issue taken care of on the cracks in the outer gel coat. We will not be swapping out bottles at any events. Bottles must go through the warranty process with our bottle manufacturer:

http://97.74.153.121/NinjaWarrantyTa...s/warranty.php

However, we will be at Living Legends and i'm looking forward to getting out there and shooting it up with everyone

Not approximately. It will be roughly at around 500psi.

silvers are usually 50psi (roughly). This isnt an exact science so pressures may vary slightly.

For a Vcom, remove all shims inside of our standard or ultralite adjustable regulator to drop the pressure down to the lowest possible output your specific regulator is capable of.
