What is the number located right by the fill nipple? It will look like 2 numbers - 2 numbers - 2 or 3 letters, usually RB or SBM.

What kind of certified gauge did you use to measure output pressure?

Hi Rob, I purchased a brand new Ninja 68/4500 with the pro regulator installed already at my local store. I was told that it came with the standard psi regulator 450-800psi.

When I took apart the regulator to adjust the psi, there was only one silver shim in there. Was I given the wrong regulator?

Thanks

5/8-18unf. I bought this tank used. its looks in good shape. but I blew 2 macrolines back to back after filling. I have a little rigged up gadget and measured slightly over 1000 output. any suggestions on what to do?

I am currently using a 48/3000 tank on my mini and am considering buying a 50/4500. I have two questions. 1: I have no problems with air efficiency now, so the 50 would even hold more air, correct? (I sometimes only get 2k from a fill at my local field) 2: Could I use my 3k reg and only fill to 3k until I can purchase a new reg?

Not a tech but yes you would get more air in the 50. As for the second question with a new tank you will get a new reg anyways so that point is moot.

I am looking at picking up an adjustable ninja reg used. It has only 1 silver shim in it right now, he is missing the two reds.

What output would this put the reg at now? ~450psi?

Are the missing two red shims going to give me any issues besides the lack of adjustability?

If you bought a pro style regulator, it will have a silver rotational collar between the top and bottom half of the regulator. If your regulator does not have the silver rotational ring, its not a pro. Unless you have a blackout edition 68, in which case the silver rotational ring will be coated black.

None of our systems should have just "1" silver shim. Give us a call at 877-646-5287, anyone that answers can help. We'll try and determine what you have over the phone

Yes, you will get more shots out of a 50/4500 since it holds 4500psi instead of only 3000psi.

No, we would never recommend putting a 3000psi reg on a 4500psi bottle. When you buy a 50/4500, we dont sell bottles alone so it will come with a regulator mounted on it so you wont have to worry about mounting a reg on the bottle

Yes, that should put you around that pressure. Without knowing exactly how many and which shims came with the system when it was originally purchased makes it difficult to guesstimate the output.

I noticed your in WI. If you're goign to Living Legends, bring it by the booth and we can test the output for you for free. If you need shims to bump the pressure back up, those are included in a Ninja Rebuild Kit which retails for about $12 and includes a Gen II piston, pin valve seat, set screws, and 2 silver and 2 red adjustment shims.

We sure will. We set up at LL6 today and will be open tomorrow but I'm not sure what time. Stop by and we'll see what the reg is outputting and see if any work needs to be done.

I won a 68/45 ghost tank at a local tournament, i went to take the bonnet off so i could swap it to low pressure, and the set screws or froze, seems to have striped the allen.. even took it the local pro shop to see if they could get them out... They could not...

Question i have is should i ship it back to you "ninja"?? or let the pro shop spend more then 2 mins trying to remove the set screws

Thanks

I am in the midst of purchasing I think a 68/4500 fiber pro shp for a automag. I am also looking for a tank I can use with a lpr. If I purchase the shp will I be able to switch regs and use the same tank for a lpr marker?

Yes if you have say SHP reg and the a Pro reg. You can drain tank swap regs and use Pro on any marker out. Then swap back to the SHP reg for the RT mag.

You sure can Just need to hand tighten the regulator on the cylinder prior to using it. Also make sure there is no gap between the bottom of the regulator and the top of the neck of the cylinder when installing the regulator. When removing it from your marker, make sure to use the regulator as leverage and not the back of the bottle. This will ensure that your regulator will not separate from the bottle upon removal.
