Huge problems with my brand new reg that just came in the mail today. I installed it on my bottle and everything threaded ok. I wanted to drop the pressure of the reg so i decided to start taking out the bonnet set screws. First screw came out easily...2nd set screw not so much. This set screw was incredibly torqued down to the point where now the set screw is stripped and has no chance of coming out. Anything I can do? I mean i just spent 40 bucks on a brand new reg that now I can not do as advertised due to an overly tightened screw that refused to come out. Pretty disappointed.

OK, this is an odd situation. There isnt anything in our regulator that would restrict you from filling it up to the max pressure, which is why I was thinking it might be the gauge. Without having the regulator and bottle here, its impossible to say what the issue might be.

With you being in Guam, this is going to make it even more difficult to have me tech. Have you tried going to Guam Paintball in Talofofo to see if Rich can take a look at it for you? He's the owner.

Question, I pulled all the shims out of my pro reg on my 50/45 and for some reason the pressure is still reading 550psi output. from what I saw in the manuals and what everyone else is saying, the output should be 450psi. is there anything I can do about that?

It currently works fine on my V1 but I would rather keep the pressure a little lower to be on the safe side.
What kind of gauge are you using to measure the output?

The only thing that can be done is drill out the set screw, buy a new bonnet ($12) and install the new bonnet, if you do not want to purchase another new regulator.

See if you can borrow another gauge from somebody and see if it has the same problem. If not then it's your gauge.

I have an ninja regulator and whenever my tank reaches 500 psi it starts to vent air at the pin and I can push the pin pretty easy with no force. I was thinking this is not possible and opened up the bonnet to find that my reg has no spring behind the pin. Is it possible to send me a spring ?

i have a 50/45 ninja tank with adjustable regulator. i was wondering if i have to change anything on the tank to fit the gun? Or do i just have to tune the regulators on the gun to fit the tank? i know that egos run at low operating pressure and just wondering if i have to do anything to the tank so the output pressure fits the gun? if that makes sense. Thanks!

Hey I just got a new Ninja 68/4500 dura w the pro reg on it. I will be running it on a 2012 G6r as well as a ripper victory. Im also have the premium pillow bolt in the g6r. What is the best pressure set up to use with these. Thanks!

ok, this is going to make it even more difficult. Sorry, not sure why I assumed Guam.

The only way to test the gauge is to install one from another regulator or buy a new one and try it out. If you find out that the gauge that came on your regulator is bad, if the regulator is under warranty, we can send you a new one for free.

You sure can. Make sure there is zero pressure in your cylinder, remove gauge, make sure there is no thread sealant tape left in the port on the regulator body where you install the gauge, apply new thread sealant tape on the gauge you want to try out, install in body and give it a try. Please let us know what you find out.

They come in our Ninja Pin Valve Kit which retails for $6.95

The regulator will vent at lower pressures when you dont have enough pressure in the tank to seal the orings. Sometimes wiping the piston off and re-applying new silicone grease will help.

In order to know if you should drop the pressure on your ninja regulator, we will need to know what you're shooting. If an Ego accepts 450-800psi, we would always recommend going with the lower pressure since there is no need to make your marker work hard to regulate the higher pressure down when its easier on it to regulate the lower pressure and still work correctly. You will not have to "modify" the regulator or cylinder in any way to make it screw into your marker.

Remove all of the shims inside if you purchased a Ninja PRO Adjustable. If you purchased a PRO SLP, do not alter anything inside of the regulator.

You're using a non-certified gauge thats probably 5+ years old. Not the right kind of gauge to measure accurately, but it will give you a ball park number as long as the gauge is working.

If you want PRECISE output pressures, I would highly recommend using the optimus TechT gauge.
