I was just looking around on ANS gear and noticed this LE Dye DAM

This just got me wondering, has anyone put a first strike round through an Apex Tip? Intuition leads me to believe that the paint would just chop in the tip, and I know it wouldn't improve the FS trajectory in anyway, but I did think the apex tip was odd on the DAM. I can see a few people maybe switching to first strike rounds and forgetting to adjust the apex tip, And CHOP.
Anyone else think this is odd?

That is weird... if the FS even makes it out of the tip without breaking, it would probably fly really oddly and you wouldn't be able to hit a tree at 10 feet.

Yeah, I don't think you are supposed to use first strike rounds with that. There would be more chops than a kitchen. (It didn't work with break.)

Is there any way to like pull back or do something to the apex tip so the ball won't hit the ramp? If not then there is really no way you could shoot a fs round through the apex

Yeah, theres a switch on the front of it, but I'm not sure if it pulls the tounge up enough to completely avoid the round. It also takes a bit away from it being as simple as sliding the switch on the marker to switch rounds. That's why I was saying I could see a few people forgetting about the apex and switching to fs and chop.
