MK3 Toyota Supra Thoughts

Whatre your thoughts? I really want to buy one. They produced them from 1986.5 - 1992 and while I do LOVE the MK4 body style like everyone else, I also really like the MK3s. Thoughts anyone?

I think you should buy an MKIV Supra and put a 5.0L Ford V8 in it and race a guy in here building a Mustang with a 2JZ

I would love to see that happen

MK3s are nice though when they are running right, my friend had one in college

You know Ricky? I haven't seen you around the Team Supra meets. Rudy "The Captain" Martinez never heard of you either. You better check out with The Skipper.

Most of the 7M-GTE engines pop the factory head gaskets around 65-70k.

Mine popped at 68k.

It's due to workers undertorquing some of the head bolts.

If you replace the head gasket and properly torque the bolts then you don't really have to worry about it any more than any other car.
