I lost the key for my locking wheel nuts, I tried hammering a smaller 12pt socket on the nut and slowly removing with a breaker bar, this did nothing. I put an extractor (Actual locking wheel nut extractor, got it from matco) tried 2 different sizes, neither of them did anything either. They would start to turn and the threads would start to bite, then the extractor would knock itself off the threads and come off. This happened for both sizes. So now I'm left with 2 extractors with damaged threads and locking nuts still on.
What is another method? I don't want to cut the nut off and restud the hub. Is that about all thats left?
Its on a silverado so the nuts are torqued to 140ft/lbs. Little bit harder then doing this on a small car.

lrn2readbro, I already said I did that. Pretty sure it was in the first line.
Spiral flute extractors? I think those would work, no? The ones I have now are just coarse reverse thread on the inside.

We have an irwin bolt extractor thing we use at the shop(busy tire shop) we see this at-least once a week. We just seriously beat the piss out of them on the lug, then slowly grap em with a breaker bar, an impact will knock it off almost every time.

do the socket thing, or use your tool. but put a rag over the locking nut before. ive done that, the little extra thickness from the rag makes it a bit more tight, and you might get lucky.
