The valve is much, much higher flow than the old one, yet it has been properly designed to improve efficiency, without adding any seals, so it maintains the ego hallmark of reliability. Jack and I studied fluid mechanics, biomimetics, and the mechanical dynamics of the system. For instance, the valve spring is now extremely light, and is hidden so it does not create random zones of low pressure near the valve mouth. The volume available to this improved valve was drastically increased to lower pressure.

The lpr being moved in to the body allows the front to be gripped with one hand high on the barrel much easier

The trigger frame is also higher ( closer to the hopper) than any other stacked tube, which reduces profile.

The macro less system jack chose allows you to tech/swap the reg quickly, while eliminating potential soft line leaks and profile. It's not a compromise. I have gigantic hands and it doesn't get in the way of me gripping it.

I'll just say this: shoot it. I have been a very vocal critic of the shot quality, and, frankly, some of the design philosophy PE has used in the ego previously. Jack and I talked through some of that with an open mind, and jack had his finger on the pulse of the players they sponsor, as well.
When a company stops worrying about hyping a tweaked gun every year and sits down to revamp it, you know they care about the end user experience.

The result is what is now the smoothest and quietest poppet gun available without a balanced valve. And in a lot of cases, better than those that went to the trouble of including it, at the cost of adding critical seals (more orings to fail). And, by the way, it appears to be more efficient than the previous egos.

I'll have a full technical discussion of all the major changes in a video Friday. And this is without even touching on the mechanism linking the valve and rammer, which was a master stroke from Jack.

I still think I would prefer it with a macro vs the bridge that is on there.....and ditch all the rubber. Only Dye does that kind of ****.

Take the rubber off and I would like it a lot more. The bridge grows on you faster than the rubber. I just hate it resembles the NT/DM up front sort of.
