Are there any paintball reg testers available retail? I'm thinking of just making one though with a old Asa an then just getting a gauge to put where the macro fitting was. My plan is this: use an on/off Asa to screw the tank into, then run the normal macroline to the reg, then have the reg screwed into the second Asa. The second Asa is just a standard Asa with no on/off and it has a relief hole in the bottom of it. Will my idea work safely?

I made one using a Palmers tank extender to a slidecheck on the output connected to a gauge,I can screw the reg into it and use the existing input line from the gun to air it up.The slidecheck enables me to set the reg then purge it to get an accurate reading after adjusting.
I made this because alot of low pressure guns dont have gauges,its real easy to blow hoses or soleniods without knowing youre output pressure(Pmrs),real annoying trend in markers to me
Youre idea will work and will be same,recommened you put a(remote line) slidecheck between the reg and asa to bleed off pressure

Best one we've seen is the TechT Optimus Gauge. Digital output and very accurate.

I've seen the TechT gauge, but it's WAY too expensive for the amount that i'll use it.

I would use another on/off asa myself for the reg tester. Just makes things a little bit easier if you need to vent it from adjusting pressures. A standard duckbill style works too though.
