I'll probably get a terrier. I need a flushing dog even though retrievers are way cooler.

That's my roommates girlfriend holding him as a puppy. My roomie bought him, (Koda) for her for a birthday or some ****.

It's not technically ours but I've lived with it for like 1.5 years, so I feel like it's mine too...

He's a bastard though. I'll try to get some vids of him being a little ****er around our apartment.

Chesapeake Bay Retriever's are really cool. A woman my wife works with has one and it is massive.

what, huskies? they arent monsters but they are definitely not a biginners dog. they have some unique health and care issues. every husky i have seen at the kennel has been awesome but i would rather have a malamute or tamaskan (if i could ****ing find one) but i like huge dogs and tamaskans are just flat out cool

edit: this is a tamaskan, looks exactly like a wolf with zero wolf blood.

I've heard they really like to dig and get out of yards. Also not really a dog you can let off leash or they will take off.

that comes down to training, honestly. any kind of work or herding dog is like that. they need a lot of attention and training and they will be fine.

I think a lot of that can be found in any dog. It can be managed by training and nut removal. My dog knows when we are outside he is not to leave my side unless I send him somewhere. And he has no balls to make him want to run off and **** *****es.

He's pretty good actually. Really nice to anyone (strangers) that come over. Except black people. He hates black people and barks at them at any given time if they come to our apartment. He doesn't care when he's outside though. He must think they're intruders or something lol.

He's not too bad about trying to run away. We bring him to the dog park and he plays well with all other dogs. Never gets aggressive or anything. He actually sticks up for the little dogs when a bigger dog tries to **** with it.

He's pretty good, but he also sheds like a mofo. There's hair everywhere. I need to invest in lint rollers.

My roommate also trained him to sit, shake with both paws, lay down and rollover, and he's working on speak right now.

Our buddy has a dog that will stand on his hind legs with his front paws over his head whenever he yells "TOUCHDOWN" ...he'll also say "Here we go Brownies, here we go!" and the dog will bark twice right after.

It's a pretty cool dog.

here are some of the other bad *** dogs my family members own:

4yr old retired police sheapard (has splay foot so they decommissioned him). about $20k worth of training and breeding for free, ahh yes the perks of boarding most of the PD's dogs in the surrounding area:

cousin's rhodesian ridgeback (he has 2 now, this is the male Zulu):

other cousin's american bulldog Rosco (look like chance much?):

next time im down at the kennel ill snap a few pics of the dogs we got right now. i believe there are 2 wolves down there atm.

that's my uncle. his kids went to Ohio Northern and OSU but he probably has the shirt cuz my sister went there.

that dude is like 50 and has the body and athletic ability of a 20yr old...its really depressing since i am a mess in comparison. he runs like 10 miles a day, is still strong as hell and is still a freaky good baseball/softball player.
