Ninja Tank Gauge Problem - Weird

Ok so I just got a new to me but used Ninja Tank from someone on this site the other day. The tank was a 2012 and looked brand new like it was never used.

I took the tank to my local shop to get filled. The shop uses the gauge on the tank to fill. The tank was filled to 4400 psi. When I got home it was pretty much the same.

The next day I hooked it up to my gun and still maybe 4300 psi. I shot maybe 10 shots and the psi dropped to 3500 psi. I shot 10 more shots and the gauge stopped and leveled out to 2500 psi.

What the heck is going on???

Gauges on paintball tanks are basically pressure indicators just telling you that you have SOME pressure, around 4400psi or whatever. Probably the gauge is broken. They break all the time. You can either leave it there, or call ninja and see if they will give you a replacement.

give us a call at 877-646-5287, describe the problem and we can see if we can warranty the gauge even though you bought it used. Anyone that answers the phone can help

Thanks!

Thanks so much you guys! I am just concerned because the shop uses that gauge to fill the tank! I don't want them to keep blowing my burst discs!

If you're blowing a burst disk, its not from the fill station. It means there is some kind of an issue going on inside your regulator causing it to overpressurize up to 1800psi and thus, blowing your 1800psi burst disk.
