Dm11 or dm12

I can get a red and graphite dm11 like new for $500 or a dm12 Miami vice like new aswell for about $700 .. Is there any difference between them ? I've owned a dm12 before and loved it . But is it a $200 difference ? Also does the billy wing bolt make a difference in both ? Not in consistency but more in smoothness of the shot. I'm picking one up tomorrow either the 11 or 12 so help me make up my mind.

I prefer the dm12, for a few reasons

1: Tool less back cap

2:cooler graphics

the tooless part plays a big role with me in if it's worth 200 extra dollars. Idk

The dm11 is a great gun as well it's really up to you.

the billy wing bolt makes a small noticeable difference in performance , As i can lower my LPR there for making a smoother shot. So yes if you have the cash billy wing it, if not just break in your stock bolt it's almost the same but not quite

The $200 price diff is not there. Only real difference is the 45 degree elbow which you can buy and the tool less removal bolt which I find a lot more difficult than using an Allen key. Another thing is the dm12 has no lurker eigen ring for it which the dm11 does.

As for the bwing bolt yes it will shoot smoother if tuned properly. Or you can send bolt and can in to be polished for 30$ and its same thing.

I don't mean to sound like a noob but what's a lurker eigen ring ? Dm11 is also tooles when it comes to grips . All I can see it the obvious different milling and that the bolt unscrews but to me that's not a $200 difference .. Is there anything I'm missing ? Same reg, same Asa , same board I believe , same bolt .?

The lurker eigen ring is a 30 dollar extra after market part you can buy to increase efficiency but it also adds kick if i remember so..

that's only difference is milling and tooless and 45 degree elbow basically, it's same bolt/board/asa/ etc

if your trying to save money get a dm11, and put the 200 bucks in a billy wing bolt and a parts kit

Ima most probably get the dm11 and the $200 towards paint . Unless there's a difference performance wise I should get the dm12 . I had it and loved it so I'm guessing I'm going to feel the same with the 11

I have a DM12 now, and have had DM11s and DM12s before.

After having had several, I can say that they're functionally identical other than the bolt and the grip cover and the 45 degree fitting on the hyper 3.

The one thing I do like better about the DM11 is that the bolt doesn't get paint on it when the body is shot, due to the lack of cutouts on the body.

Now that I've had my DM12 custom anodized I won't be switching back to an 11, though.
