hey,
basically i have a pair of gt's bought from a guy on ebay, all are working fine but i have tried to program them to millenium ramping today and there is only semi and semi unlimited. reading the manual i saw it says only these modes are available in the Australian version which i assume i must have.
so basically can i reboot them to english software (where i live) so i can use mills or do i have to sell them?

You can do it by following the steps provided here and choosing the appropriate Version to Flash:

Just follow these instructions that Davis has provided, and pick the "Clone 2.0 Full Function" flash from the list when you update the software.

Having the same issue BUT the gt is unresponsive when i plug it in with the .exe open. the usb works and the notice that the gun is not plugged in goes blank, but does not recognize it still.
