DM8 not shooting help
I have a recently purchased dm8, first weekend shot amazing. Cleaned it, lubed it and everything. Second weekend started giving me problems. Adjusted the Lpr , tried bumping the dwell. And a few other things. But the gun will shot a ball or two correctly and straight, then start barely coming out of the barrel and stops shooting. This is my first DM so i'm not familiar with them too much. A friend of mine is attempting to fix, but so far it has had us all stumped.

Sounds like a battery issue. Did u replace them?
Was it really cold? I had a weird issue with my pm8 that was similar to this, and had to tweak both the reg and the lpr to make the gun work, but it shot like cheet all day.
Make sure u don't over-lube the gun. That it very important with matrixes. If u over-lubed the bolt, u cah get bolt-stick.

either battery or a LPR/HPR issue only thing it can be unless your dwell is set WAY too low so the the ABS setting shoots the first 1-3 balls at a high dwell and then once it kicks off its puffing so
Change battery
Set LPR to 4 turns
Set HPR to 4 1/3 turns
set dwell to 21

Stock dwell is 18 if in not mistaken. U can run 21-23 easily in cold weather.
This is a great video for you to review on the dm8.

Yeah put it at 21. DM's shoot a metered amount of air so don't fret upping the dwell. Do 3 - 3 1/2 turns out on the LPR and about 2 1/2- 3 on the HPR. Shoot it and go chrono. Or just tune the LPR to your weather. Every LPR is different so "turns" only mean so much. Just go to a chrono zero it out and raise it until your guns shoots consistently over the chrono then another 1/8-1/4 turn to make sure it doesn't fall short a little later on in the day. Don't take it past 4 turns. If it needs more than 4 then you need to lube/rebuild your regs and make sure your bolt sail oring is in good shape. What lube are you using? Good lubes to use are Dow 33 LIGHT, Macdev Lube, Monkey Poo and Pooty Poo. Make sure none of your bolt orings are too loose or too tight. You don't want any of your orings as tight as an anus... but not as loose as a hotdog in a hallway.... Not much else I can think of off the top of my head to compare tightness to.

Nah. I've ran 25 dwell just to prove it hurts literally nothing.
