redline problem
I just bought a redline foregrip for my mini and it worked great the first day, but now with the eyes on it will only peak at 9bps with eyes off it will go over 20bps on the same setting. Ive tried everything i know and can't figure it out thanks for any help

Your eyes could possibly be dirty, have you tried getting to them, it can be a pain, but that might be your problem.

Yes, Try cleaning the eyes. The way the RedLine board is programmed, if the eyes and bad or dirty it will default to about 8 or 9 bps.

So the eyes still work when you switch back to the stock board?

I felt the LCD screen wasn't worth be difference with the settings on the Shockwave. I didn't gain anything on the redline LCD that I couldn't do with 4 settings and a manual for the Shockwave.

You need to verify the eyes are working properly. Stick your finger in breech, see if the eyes detect your finger, take your finger out, see if it detects that. If they are not working properly, the eyes are dirty or faulty, or the redline is not connected properly to the main board.
I love the redline, I can never remember blinks and colors and all that jazz. Makes changing settings a breeze.

There are arguments for and agaisnt it. It is $200 which is alot of money. It's more of a luxury item then a neccesity. If you love your axe and don't plan on switching to any other gun anytime soon I personally think its worth it. Makes your axe feel like a truely high end gun cause you get a more ergonomic grip + don't have to mess with blinks and all that. Especially useful if you like to tweak your gun alot due to the weather, changing out bolts/springs, etc.

I see....well I have had my mini for a while I guess I can spoil her. Only reason I bought it was because I striped the screw that holds my battery door on my stock mini forgrip and now the board and dead battery are stuck inside

I love mine. Being able to change settings as fast as it allows is awesome. And if I play speed ball then wanna go play with the Rec Ballers I can switch my configurations within 10 secs and I'm in semi with the 10 bps cap. And being able to change dwells and be able to see it is awesome. People say it ain't worth it but with all the tinkering I do to my gun seeing all the settings and being able to change them quickly is awesome. It feels better than my original foregrip too.

I say take the eyes out of the socket that they fit into the barrel and clean the socket with a q-tip. Oil and coatings from paint get on the eyes and in the socket.

No. Never saw the need for one. Happy with the way it is.
