LOL, its tricky! There is a bunch of little screws holding it all together.

Nice color! I can't tell from the pictures. Did your spire having any of the plastic speckles show up?

Just out of curiosity. Can you remove the dye? If not, can you use a new dye color on top of the existing one?
I would love to try different colors.

I'm happy with the final result. I received this spire as a trade and I have to say that it did have some stains. This took care of the problem.

I'm sure you can remove it by sanding it down, but removing it chemically, I would'nt think you could without damaging the plastic.

I would think you could add another color over that blue, but I imagine it would come out very dark.

I would like to find something that has the same type of plastic as the Spire shell. That way, I can test plastic pieces to get the colors down.

You should be able to dye darker over whatever color you have already. I don't think you can go lighter.

My hot pink one came out pretty much perfect, posted in the thread a couple below this one. Going to try a two tone splash on my friends spire this weekend. Hopefully it works
