Low-cost, web-connected home media center

Where do I start? I'd originally considered something like a Raspberry Pi, due to the convenience of basically having a small computer connected to the TV. That looks like it won't work due to Netflix not functioning on it (so I've read online). What's my next reasonably priced option?

Here's what I'd like to do:
1. Stream GSU sports online in a web browser
2. Stream ESPN3 to the TV
3. Watch movies and TV shows on Netflix
4. Have the capability to play music stored online (not 100% necessary, but would be nice)

Is there anything out there for a reasonable price? It looks like needing the browser is the biggest problem.

you can get little android computers for <$100 i'm pretty sure which would do 3&4 for sure, you'd have to test 1&2 on someones phone to see if they work

The only problem I'd see with ESPN3 is you'd have to use WatchESPN instead, but I can get credentials for that, so it's not that big of a deal. I'd have to test the streaming from the GSU website, though.

Have you looked into either Boxee or Roku?

I personally run Plex (xbmc) on my MacBook Pro as I never take it anywhere, so I just leave it connected to my TV. For me, that has been the best solution, but again, that requires a PC to plug into the TV

Roku doesn't support ESPN3 and (to my knowledge) doesn't have a browser, so it wouldn't work for me. Our events are streamed via something called "livestream", so I might be able to get an app for that on, but that would still leave me lacking ESPN3

Raspberry Pi with XBMC! http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Raspberry_Pi

EDIT:
And for the whole Netflix issue, there's this thread I found: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/vi...p?f=35&t=31102

Seems to be an issue when trying to playback at 1080p.
