Is It Me, Or the HPRs are different on the VCOMs?
Looks to me like the VCOM vics come with an HPR that seems to be something like .5" longer.

The one Violent made was decent, basically just a long stock reg. The Critical ones were just... wrong.

Yeah, I didn't really understand what the hell they were thinking. It isn't the first time, either.
I have a VP extender on a V1 for the vic one of my customers left with me like... woah... 5 or 6 months ago...
And yeah, it's nice.
Very, very nice. It's actually the only reason I want a vic over a gen1 marq and I have a darq and Edge.

The short reg didn't bother me as much as I thought it would on my ripper when I had it. But it seems the demand for a 'standard' length reg was high enough to merit the change.

The longer reg is most certainly something Im happy Bob is doing with the newer vics. It may not necessarily be needed but the demand was there as you said Tabby. Very excited for my VCom

It also kind of balances the gun out. Not exactly weight wise, but I always felt weird with it being so short.
Not implicating anything

guess it depends how you hold your gun and how big your hands are but i prefer the short reg as my hands arent huge and i hold the gun with my thumb over the top.

Has anyone tried to get one of these from Bob Long for their current Victory? I hope they will be available separately and decently priced.

I never really understood the problem with the shorter reg. Sure, it might be a little goofy aesthetically, and I initially thought it would be annoying to use too.
However, going into my 4th season shooting the same Vic (coming from an Alias), I have yet to actually miss the extra reg length. I don't even notice it while playing and I have relatively large hands. In all honesty I've come to appreciate the shorter length reg because it forces me to put my support hand in the same spot every time I pick the gun up.

Idk man.
I have small hands, but it irks me somewhat.
That's nice that they didn't extend it all the way. It only needed like a 1/4"-1/2" extra length.
