Battle of Alamo (March 2013 @ DBS Outdoor)

Guys & Gals,

DATE SET: March 17th, 2013!

I wanted to get this info out! Date is TBA (should be up within next 5 days). Pretty excited for this event as we will be rebuilding our center castle for this so the Alamo itself will be awesome! Three action packed rounds as you have come to expect.

Want to shoot up a pro? Well, Vancouver Vendetta players, along with DBS Flood & Killmode players, will be defending the Alamo in The Last Stand, our third and final round for the day!!!

How will respawns be handled?

Don has been working on his tank for SuperGame... rocket launcher so it can be anti tank from his tank! Will we see this at BOA? You will only know if you come out!!!

I like that idea. I've seen 10 minute respawns work good too but I dislike instant respawns on a your size of field. It makes taking bases and bunkers less rewarding imo because by the time you are ready to take the base the person you just shot out is gunning for you.

Instant works well at a game like Supergame where they have 55 acres though.

I think I'll be looking forward to this game. Looking forward to hearing more about "tanks" too.

Two weeks away! Center Alamo fortress should be complete within the next 2 weeks!

This Sunday! Center of field is being prepared for the center Alamo to be constructed! Lots of work happening out there this week to prep for the event! Excited for the improvements to the field and for a BLAST on Sunday!

Picked up a couple props today and got more work done at the field. Getting quite a few pre registrations coming in, and at this point am anticipating 120+ players for the event!

well for those poor souls who were stuck in the Alamo, It has finally been rebuilt, might have to bring out the BIG gun and see how many fools think they can overtake it & get In!!

who knows might be a good day to even braek in the tank! BTW , kinda looking for a couple guys for the tank crew..

If you have any problems finding volunteers to climb in the tank, I might have to volunteer...lol.

URGENT: Gates Open at 8:30AM, briefing at 9:30AM, first round starts at 10:00AM.

This is one hour prior to our previous event. Game day schedule has been on the site since the info was released, but we don't want anyone to miss the info!

If you are late you CAN still play, you just might miss the start of the first round!
