Allow me to show my ignorance, but aside from there being no holes for the timing rod and trigger adjustment, what keeps a ccm frame from working mechanical. I ask because I would like to keep just the one frame and have the ability to swap back and forth. I have access to a machine shop, is it possible and if so what else may I need?

What type of CCM frame is it?

Does the trigger have the added material at the top to receive the timing rod?
If it doesn't, you'll need to sort out a different trigger.

You would have to make a custom trigger which has the cam that would work the actuating rod.

CCM did make slider frames back in the day, which would double up like you want, but they're hard to find and expensive. Assuming they're on the market long enough to even be seen.

To avoid a major headache, you should look into a Dye single trigger hinge frame. It's the closest thing out there to what you want. And wont put you in the poor house. $60 isn't as big a pill to swallow as $125+ for a CCM slider.

When CCM got sued years back from "copyright infringement" they stopped production of the J2, and any mechanical autococker parts. It's why they only make pumps now. Consequently, their new parts are strictly non-mechanical. They're intentionally designed not to have any crossover with other autococker companies.

Sorry for the delay in response. Thanks to both for the info. Below is the frame I have, came with the marker. This is why I ask, otherwise I may be looking to sell the ccm frame for like mentioned dye or a simple wgp.

yeah, that's the latest one that has no rod slot for a 3-way.
