The screen on my board on my clone gt is completely out.
I played with it last week and it work perfectly without it.
I ordered a new screen from Macdev Monday, it came in today and I installed it.
I pop'd the out screen out, pop'd the new one in, and nothing....
The screen doesnt work.
Could it be a defective screen from Macdev or is it something wrong with my board?

Make sure it is installed correctly with ALL pins in ALL holes. Have seen someone put it in sideways with one set of pins offset and only two inserted

Did you get the right oled screen? there is a type A and type B. Both are compatible but the type A requires a little setup otherwise it will appear blank. check this link: http://store.macdev.net/Articles.asp?ID=246

Type A monitors are not sold or available anymore.

Best thing to do is flash the board with monitor installed correctly.

Once installed and flash complete it will work.
Note: flash only with marker turned off.

I purchased the right screen. It is installed correct, all pins in holes.
I flashed it.
Still nothing.....

sorry but going back and forth between thread and Pm is not working for me to much information flying around. Please pick a source of contact and stay with it please.
Since you purchased Used its hard to say what the issues is, also purchasing a marker that had a burnt out screen or board as you stated we can not 100% VERIFY if its the monitor or board without testing ourselves. May want to send it in so we can test for the Problem.
