GoPro Hero3 Advice, Techniques, and Support

Recently picked up a Hero3 and thus far have been very happy with the results. The LCD screen accessory has been worth the investment and has been great for taping family events, etc. Have the handlebar mount for paintball purposes and will be using it on a field sometime in the coming weeks.

Would be interested to hear thoughts, tips, etc from other owners...

I've got the silver and am happy with it so far. Haven't done anything low light yet, so we will see.

My only gripe is not getting it to pair with the app.

Thanks, somewhere along the line I missed the step of having to connect via my cellphone's wi-fi too. Amazing what you figure out when you read the instructions.

Used it for the first time on a field this weekend. Very happy with the picture quality, barely noticed the camera was even attached, and had full confidence in the mount/case. Looking through the videos now and am a little disappointed in the lack of audio pickup. I hear my gun and rotor perfectly, but communication is muffled. Debating switching to the skeletal back door...

it gets a little grainy in low light. i have the same exact model you got... still not a bad picture though. definitely beats an iphone5 camera in low light lol

Justr scored a Hero 3 Silver in a fundraising auction Saturday. Gonna mount it on my dogs harness and do some disc tricks with him! Hoping they come out!
