Etek 1 VS Fusion F7
Assuming both are stock, Which would be better?
Both seem to be priced arounf the same. Both use the same style of operation with the stacked tube design, I have read that the fusion is not as loud.
Let me know what you think?

I have minimal experience with the Etek 1, but alot of experience with the dp7, own a hybrid fusion 7 still and will never get rid of it.
It's reliable, minimal moving parts, and if you ever need parts, 7th element and dp have them available. I have never had it leak or not work on the field, and to maintain it just a simple wipe down and few drops of oil.
20+ cases, still on original orings, balanced and shoots nice, not as nice as an upped legend or spool, but nice. ****ers fast too if that's your gig!
The downside of the F7 is the lack of programming on the board, a virtue or other WILL be necessary to have it field ready which stinks having to toss 50 dollars into a marker. (otherwise you get semi 15/25 or auto 15/25).
The barrels do the job, not the best hone, but acceptable that you can play with the matching barrel and be satisfied.
Also, SPD grips or other lexan grips will make it more "comfortable" if you have smaller hands.
Good luck making your decision, the PE fanboys will hop on here to tell you about the Etek shortly.

I had an etek 1. It's heavy, because it used washers instead of o-rings. And very loud too. But it never went down, and it's a planet eclipse, so you can never go wrong with it I am personally not a fan of DP, because of several reasons, but I think you would be fine with either gun.

I'd vote the DP F7. Eteks tend to sound like cannons, but are incredibly reliable. If you know how to treat a DP it'll treat you great! Put the time in to get the time and optimal performance from your gun

Picked up a broken etek1 not long ago for super cheap. The ram was packed full of sand and it still shot! Never seen anything like it. Cup seal, clean, lube, and fresh orings it worked perfect after that abuse. Not saying the fusion couldn't do the same, just sharing..
