PADS! They will save your knees, elbows, and family legacy. Dye makes the absolute best IMO.
Also ditch the prevail jersey and pants and just get 2012 Contact TW or Zero pants. That jersey is hot, heavy, and bulky.
One last thing, I much prefer Exalt full tank rubber covers over the zip up type like the Rhino. Exalt ones are way less bulky and provide much better grip.

I say skip the Ego, for $1000 you can get a much more relevant marker(maybe a g6r), or save money on a gun that shoots just as well (axe).
For mask the i4s are cool but make sure you have a small face/head... I still favor a proflex or eflex for better coverage and breath ability.
Gloves ehhhh not totally needed on my preference, especially not for that price.
Jersey not really needed but that's preference.
Make sure u invest in good pants, I recommend dye or empire.
Last pads are a must, if you plan on playing speedball you will need elbow pads and knee pads!
Also I see youre ready with all your new money to spend but browse the forums, snag your self some deals!
And when it comes to paint support your local store/field you should be able to find good deals as well

If your gonna get a ego11 i would just buy used because the resell on them is so low now and if you decide to get new i have heard some bad/strange things about the ansgear custom colors so id go for a factory color... Not trying to say egos are bad cuz i love them but you can pic up a nice used one for $650-$750...

Jerseys arent needed unless youre on a team. Elbow pads are WAAAY more important, same with kneepads.
Now that its been mentioned a G6R is an awesome choice for a marker too, but dont let others make your marker choice for you. Hold and shoot the Ego 11 and some others if possible.

yeah i decided no jersey because it really isnt needed as i will be playing mainly xball. I already have pads from dye but thanks for reminding me. Also, I really dont mind paying 994$ for a new ego 11 because i have seen many positive reviews of it and I have shot one myself many times and I LOVE it. The gr6 is nice, but it just has a lot more o rings to to take care of and I want something a little more reliable.

How do you figure it has more orings? There are body seals but those shouldn't ever be something that really gets dirty or damaged.
I think his point was that you can get an Ego 11 for ~$700 or possibly less now. I haven't checked the BST for them in a while but they're pretty cheap.
Nice choice on the pads BTW, Dye are my favs too!
