Regarding swapping stock parts:
An Ego 7 trigger is slightly different compared to the Ego 8. The bearing carrier is unique to that year trigger plus the "tang" on an Ego 7 that actuates the opto switch sometimes needs to be tweaked in order to clear. The trigger pin on an Ego 7 won't fit an Ego 8 frame without modifying either the pin or the frame.

Regarding aftermarket triggers:
I was never impressed with the few Critical triggers I acquired & the same goes for CP's version. I don't recall ever trying a Violent trigger so no comment there. I just always seem to go back to stock.
