Blue Loctite for LPR

Is Blue Loctite necessary for the LPR adjustment screw? How important is it since i don't want to go out and buy it if i don't really need it.

Not 100% needed to play, but is a good ideal to keep from vibrations causing the set screw to backing out and changing your LPR pressure.

It's not necessary it's just to make sure it doesn't back out but your gun isn't going to break without it. I've never loctited my regs and have never noticed them taking huge swings while I'm not looking. It's just if you want to be 100% sure the thing doesn't ever move after you set it.

It's not needed, never used it for my LPR screw and have never had a problem.

It's only needed if your LPR screw backs out. On my G6R, that's not an issue. On my friend's, it's a big time problem and we had to put a dab of Blue Loctite on there. It just depends.

All dependent on the G6R. Some do, some don't as lopez17 stated. Either way, it does not hurt. I would rather have the security of knowing it won't move. It does state to do it in the manual.

i had this issue with a ram cap on one of my markers and a cpl wraps of teflon pipe tape fixed it per suggestions I received.

Just another option if you dont want to use loc-tite.

I would purchase it simply because it will ensure that your lpr pressure stays put. It is not an immediate must have but it is worth purchasing. I also use blue loctite on the feedneck screw and the rear ram cap screw as extra precautions.

Blue LocTite is cheap for a small tube, just stop at the hardware store or Wal Mart and buy a small tube...It's got a ton of uses in paintball, it's not like your having to drop a couple hundred dollars on it.
