Project KO
This is my project I like to call KO (knock off) cocker
It was a physcobalistics cocker but had a change of heart And wanted to be a 2k
There's still a lot more body work to do you can tell in the pics that's to come.
My question is what else should I do to it and what color.

That's beginning to look quite cool what's your total cost to do all that?
I was surprised at the quality of my lightning.

My total cost is around 235 But you could go cheaper i replaced valve as well to a standard 2k valve insted of the stock delrin rubber valve it had got the gun for 100 then got a shocktech front block assembly for 75, bolt and sled was 40 or so its using an empire snipper bolt, sled, pin then the rest is just pieces I've had laying around reg, on/off, Ccm feedneck,
My goal was to do it at home/ with home style tools. I have access to a Cnc but for this gun I didn't wanna waste time on the mill and wanted to see how hard it really was to do from home. Everything has been done so far with a band saw and an air grinder in going to cheat and run the mill for 5 sec, to make sure I get the pin slot correct don't want it sideways with my cutting

So it's a little crooked on the sides ther both flat now but one sides at more if an angle than te other but o well it's supposed to be a do it yourself project with household tools. I think it will be fun hopefully tomorrow can get it timed and shooting just need to modify 3 way arm and ram arm length.

So I think I got It working its timed that was easy but getting the spring combination on a midget is labor intensive so now I'm on med valve spring and I have a custom modified stock rear spring in trying I'm down to like a baby spring of like 5 coils but it might be right finally
I have 8-10 rear spring combinations so ill post one that works since a midget body is usually used for mq2s.

Being a midget, you need to make sure the ASA can flow more air by increasing the passage openings to get the air from the vertical reg. Your loss of air chamber space may also increase your operating pressure.

I didn't realize it was midget(ed?) as well as halfblocked! Guess I should pay better attention. Could he just use a volumizer bolt to add volume? Would that make it easier to tune or would it interfere with the valve spring?

I don't see why it wouldn't other than I don't have one and on a budget with this gun I have way to many others so I don't need to spend more money on it however I could drill air port bigger from vert reg I'm having more tryin to get hammer from not crushing valve making It leak air from barrel or recock cause Main spring to tight

You don't need a volumizer bolt.
Your Dye vertical reg itself holds a lot of air that could add to the existing chamber in the gun. You need to drill bigger holes in the banjo bolt so it can flow faster with more volume when you rapid fire.

You're going to have velocity and consistency issues. Non MQ midgeted autocockers have a hell of a time actually functioning.
The spring has to work harder in shorter distance, and the valve chamber hast to be at a higher pressure to get a decent FPS, which requires the spring and hammer to be adjusted even tighter.
Your best bet is to get as much possible space available to the valve chamber. A massive low pressure chamber is a start, and you'll also want to look for a reg extension.
Good luck, you're gonna need it.

No luck needed pbjosh is going to help get it shooting and functioning just before PBE idk though he got a lot on his plate so we will try but u must have faith I'm a problem solver not an i can't do it whiner.
So far under high fire it's fine slow its not need to adjust sear lug and a few other things. The springs are the trick.

I have to disagree. I have a dye reg on one of my minicocker, and that reg holds twice as much air as a volumizer.

i dont think youll have any issues with the mini since its a mech...if it were electro yea it might cause some issues....
its the midget that gets tricky, sounds like your getting it under control though. a lot of people just give up, get a vid up when you get it going.
.....and he doesnt have a dye reg...its an eclipse.
