Springless poppet feedback
I received and installed mine about a month ago and went through a couple of cases. While I play indoors, it is still pretty cold (outside sometimes it's -20 C) so I just make sure to have a fresh battery. With all that, I've got no skips, leaks,drop-off, breaks or issues at all. The thing just fires as it should, all the time. So far so very good.

I've taken my Etha with the springless poppet out 3 times now at around 30 degrees, and I had a little bit of skipping. Maybe 1 out of every 500-600 shots. It wasn't bad. It got really bad after I chopped once, and paint got on the bolt and caused some stick (I had to sit out a game and do a full internal cleaning to get my baby up and running again), so I don't think that the springless poppet was the problem. It was a cold day, and the paint was brittle, so I'm about 90% sure that I was having no problems with the springless poppet, but I'm not 100% sure. Just throwing my experience in here.

You really have to make sure that you are using a fresh and quality battery. You can't use the same battery for 6 months and/or 25 cases. If you play a lot, shoot a lot and tend to to leave your gun on a lot too, it wouldn't be far-fetched to change batteries every 2-3 weeks. I buy them bulk at Costco or Wal-Mart and I always carry plenty in my gear bag (90% of the time I sell them, at profit mind you, to other players in need!)
