Depending on what my bonus is this year, I might be a Vcon owner.

Me too. Same if even. Although 90% likely I'll get it.

I foresee V1 prices going up again.. Should've picked one up for $400 the other day. Oh well, got a crome2, quest, zr1, clone-v2 and a bunch of kickass matrixes to tide me over

How much taller is a vice than a G6r? I've never seen them laid out to compare overall size. Some nice vices on eBay right now.

I actually preferred my vice to my G6R because it just felt better in my hands. The vice is ridiculous with a LP poppet and a little tuning. It is supper smooth (no barrel rise) but still has the typical stacked tube snappy cycle. They are quieter than a quest, but maybe on par with a poorly tuned DM or so maybe a stock axe. Overall if they had a different form factor they'd likely be my main gun.

I do think that it looks more than it actually is... on the loader it is 1/2" to 1" mounted height.

That's a sweet pic
G6r has a pretty small footprint in comparison- maybe not a big difference in hopper height but overall.

Yeah it doesn't handle like it's a ton shorter when snapping but it feels more compact some how. I liked my vice a lot.

lol guy in your gear drive thread is funny- I'm still trying to figure out what business he had in your thread other than flaming your asking price.
Clearly he doesnt buy and sell too many gear drives lol... had to restrain myself from posting more in the for sale thread,

Thanks by the way.

Meh, I reported him for trolling. Not to play the card, but I have been around since 06 and have an older account that I lost... I've been around and I know what's up. Plus, tlmiller sold me that gear drive and can tell you it looks and functions as new. You paid what I paid.

That I can. I try my best to keep my stuff in top notch condition. Not so much because I care about resale, but because I think that the condition of a persons gear reflects on them.

Ugh... Then my gear says I'm down and dirty. Mine are immaculately maintained internally and I don't try to beat things up but I'll dive into a snake from time to time.

Mine have a few dents and dings from dives, but they're always kept clean, I don't put them away with dirt on them to have it GROUND into the anno, I don't throw it across a floor to have it scratched from top to bottom. All things I've seen on markers before far too common.

There's a difference between played with and abused.

Yeah, I agree. I'm super anal about the internals and take as good of care of my stuff as I can within reason.

Guys

Know a reliable and skilled, but cheap (oh the paradox) machinist who could freak bore (with orings) 3 or 4 redz pepperstickz backs for less than $50 total?

I found some pepperstickz kits and cheap freak inserts online and figured I'd spend like $100 in total to basically make an attractive and custom mini freak kit to include with every gun I sell in the future.

I'm hoping that $100 will get me 4-5 inserts, 4-5 backs (bored), and 4-5 tips.

That's considering that $30 will go to the 4 backs, 4 tips shindig.
