Tips for the E1 and L7 Bolt Engine

I have the L7 Bolt Engine and the APE board on the way for my E1. I am building my own version of the Techt Juiced Series. I heard that Dwell needs to be lowered for the marker. Why?
I also have Dye Slick Lube in my gear bag. would this be fine to use for the L7 or just stick with the Dp-40?

Thanks for help. I don't play often anymore just once or twice a year and just like tinker with my gear when I can.

Dwell doesn't "need" to be lowered unless it's over 14ms or so. Lowering dwell improves efficiency, which goes in hand with the techt engine. A dwell between 10-12ms is sufficient for most people. You can stop using the dp-40; no one likes that lube.

best to never use the dp lube, throw it away.

the dye lube will work great. set your dwell to 12ms and call it a day.
