Which upgrades should I get?

I have a spyder mr1 with a 6-position stock and a 12" ceramic barrel. What else should I get?

Another gun.

I'm sorry, but I'm being frank.

There really isn't much one can do for an MR1 to make it more worth using.

With a different model of spyder, perhaps.
With an Azodin, cocker, Ion, Mini, Inspire, Tippmann, yes.

Technically you can beef out the MR1 to no other, but the build quality and tolerances don't really help you out.

If you do, though, I highly suggest this route:

Buy an NDZ SS LP Valve and Maddmann spyder springs. You can get both of those for a total of $25.

Put in the valve and all medium springs.

Then you'd want to buy a regulator of some sort or run a lower output pressure on your tank.

If you're using CO2, immediately switch over to HPA.

You don't need a carbon fiber tank unless you plan to start moving up in the realm of equipment such as a marker, loader, etc. BUT, try to stick to a name brand tank and a newer one at that so you have the adjustable high performance tank regulators included and a lighter metal tank that isn't a massive chunk of steel.

And then you should consider a CP 1 piece tactical, 12", .685 bore barrel for the marker.

No matter how much I hate to admit, but he's right about the new marker part. I really love my Spyder, but there's so little that will improve the performance. Basically a barrel was the only thing that helped... Everything else, useless.

You should get a good mask and a good tank.

Stick with what you got for now, then upgrade to a better marker when you have the money.

My brothers got one so let me give you so first hand advice where to go with it. He has left it bone stock because its really difficult to build on. I had an MR2 and got rid of it because of that exact reason.

First- loader, anything that can keep up with about 10bps. An old school sound activated revvy is perfect and cheap. This will almost entirely eliminate your rapid fire ball breaks when you get on the trigger. To accompany that I would also pick up a new MR clamping feedneck for mostly getting rid of that plastic elbow mostly. You break more than 2 and you might have just gotten it anyway.

The second- would have been the barrel, so good job. I love J&J in the woods, makes quick work when you don't know how long you'll be in a game. So I guess for you is upgrade your CO2 tank to an anti-siphon, any pro shop worth their salt should be able to help you out with the install. Nothing wrong with getting a cheap 3000psi steel HPA tank if you get the refills for "free" anyway.

The Last thing I would do for an MR1 is get a hole of a single trigger frame from the classic marker, or if your lucky pick up the Bob Long Millennium trigger frames. The mechanical double trigger from spyder are terrible but oddly enough the single triggers were ok. You feel probably shoot better with one.

Yelsno suggested you could take longer road for a little more payoff, but the mr series isn't going to as easy, and either way before you continue I would still suggest you get the first 3 or 4 items taken care of.
