With paintballs its pretty tempermental. And to be honest you get what you pay for. Id rather pay $60 a case for evil and have great paint than $40 for a box of crap. Just my 2 cents

The only time I shoot high quality paint is for tournaments. Other then that, I use field grade paint, and have no problems.

If you think that way, you'll be broke.

Field paint is pretty good nowadays.

In your area, maybe not. I have a feeling the humidity will take its toll on the paint more there than in many places. I'd say shoot for mid-grade.

High end paint for recplay is a bit ridiculous since the chance of it breaking on contact is high enough anyways.

First strike rounds are fragile enough and midgrade will give you enough to chew on as well.

Same goes with them.

What you SHOULD get, though, is lots and lots of maintenance equipment.

Buy some dental picks, high quality grease and oil, quality ball-end allen keys (Bondhus has an amazing metric + standard set of good length and strength for $21 last I remember and you can pick the kit up at any hardware store or online.) and some spares for your other equipment.

Aside from that, you seem to be decked out and ready for anything.

^^^^ i kinda ment my last comment as a joke in regards to why go cheap now dnt really care bout the money as long as the equipment works good and stays that way of vourse with my maintainence. Okay i hear grease and lube so which one do you use where i believe ur supposed to do the o-rings on the bolt and tank anything else

I like valken graffiti for woods play. It's shell has a less bright color, it is almost camo, so they are harder to see coming.

I shoot Valken Graffiti as well. It's not too expensive (coming from me, the ULTIMATE budget 'baller) and it shoots extremely well!

That will shoot well in woodsball and speedball. You're set up to play anything and everything but pump.

Heat is horrible. I work at a field and we use empire heat as out cheap paint but mostly it just bounces off of people. I've had no problems with Valken Graffiti, Valken Redemption, and RPS all star. Marbalizer is hit or miss and Formula 13 shoots well but the fill is very watery. If you ever need good winter paint use Polar Ice but it needs to be freezing or very close to it.
