So I'm having to come up with some mad cash for some bills so I'm being forced to sell my sniper and all its goodies to help with bills. I am gonna want to pick up a real cheap pump though so I can continue to play pump when I'm not tearing it up with my ego. So I found the Kingman Hammer 7 and the Empire Trracer to be the cheapest out there but haven't shot ether one? What do you guys think? Thanks!

Keep in mind Im a pump newb,not new to paintball.Ive gotten 3 gamedays with it now and am still impressed
Being a pump player yourself I dont know if youd be interested in the extra features the H7 has over the Tracer(magfed/FS)
Theres a ton of reviews,mods,discussions on MCB,I'll have to give props to Kingmann for all the customer service and thread posts there,really convinced me to purchase it new

Wow you put a lot of time into that review. Good job. How's the pump stroke? I've seen pump the trracer and it looks painful to pump.

Its smooth and pump handle doesnt have wiggle or freeplay,also has a lockout once it returned forward to prevent double cocking,perfect for a pump newb like myself.I lubed the pump rod with a little bolt grease to make it even smoother.Some folks have been fooling with return spring and bolt springs,it works so good out of the box I wont mess with the internals untill I need to.
Added a bottomline and CP on/off and a speedwhell to switch between mag and hopper fed,and a M14 rail on the pumphandle,bipod is for my gunstand,too bulky to use on the field

They both have heavy pump strokes. The grip on the Hammer is less comfortable than the Trracer due to the strange placement of the screws. The Hammer is Spyder threaded and the Trracer is Cocker threaded. The Hammer pump handle only alows narrow aftermarket barrels to fit (carbon fiber and brass), the Trracer is more accommodating. The Hammer uses dual detents so rollouts should never be a problem, the Trracer has a .688 barrel. The Hammer has the clip feed option and the Traccer doesn't.

Having owned both I'd say the Trracer is more comfortable and changing the barrel is easier. The Hammer is a little awkward, but being clip fed is the big draw.

I guess id say:
Run a hopper, buy a Trracer
Run clips or First Strikes, buy a Hammer7.

The Hammer can run a hopper of course. Its center feed and the Trracer is offset vertical.
