that or we are better equipped for snow storms. So when snow hits the fan, we are ready...since it happens quite a few times a year.

Have a new pair to try but been sick haven't taken them out of the box. Might try them tomorrow.

Got sleeping pills. Probably shouldn't have taken two for the first time, especially on a day I have to work.

Rob,
I'm not that mad yet since I've been in a hotel the last two days since my house has no power and is cold. The thing you have to understand is this happens every ****ing time there is a storm, that's why I get mad. If it was a rare occurange because of a freak storm it would be different. But its a pattern of **** with nstar.

Since I refuse to argue on FB I'll continue this here. Plus I was too busy enjoying my electricity last night. **** happens Pete, it's on you to be prepared for it. After Irene I went 7 days no power. After Sandy another 7 days. Yeah it sucked dick but I was ready for it and made due. I'd advise you to do the same. You keep *****ing that the line workers aren't working hard enough. Do you know what it's like to be out in the freezing conditions working on that ****? Not to mention trying to get through the 2 ft of snow in all the ****ty locations? It was only 24 hours at that point and you are acting like you haven't had power for 2 weeks.

I'd hate to pilot a 15,000lbs+ truck in places that are covered in snow. Oh that snow covered a ditch, sucks for you. I see nothing good about the north. We may have hurricanes, but at least we don't freeze to death when they happen.

mm I do no since the same conditions are now in my house while they sip coffee in the truck. luckily my house is fixed now, but still 69% of my town has no power. My town is not all that tiny, 12,000 people, or in the boonies. It is not acceptable to leave people in 10 degree whether for a week with no heat.

Hence why you have to get the entire town to get on-board. We've been doing it for years down here.
