Lightest ion upgrades?

As the title says. I am looking for the lightest upgrades for my ion. I have upgraded it to the max with hardware and I have no where else to go with my ion with performance. So I am just going to try and make it lightest possible. Anyone know what the lightest trigger frame, firing can/breach, and body for the ion is ( still available to purchase would be nice).

Ideas?

It's vary hard to tell whats lighter than the other. I think the only one's commonly available body wise would be the Shocktech S.S.C. Body Kit. As for trigger frame I'm guessing the Epiphany Frames, (They are compatible with Ions, but sometimes screw holes don't match up because they are a bit larger.)

Best I could do since the Ion's are much older and parts not commonly available. All in all it doesn't matter very much because your not going to tell the difference between an ounce or two.Plus your tank should rest agaisnt your shoulder so yea...

L7 bolt is the lightest bolt for the ion. Very efficient and allows for lower pressure and dwell. I have one for sale if you are interested

the holes are larger to accept a resessed screw so that the screws are hidden from site and that shocktech body is a bunk it causes nothing but headaches

stock breach body kit and epiphany frame would be the lightest besides maybe a warrior body kit if you can find one ans has a few olive ones in stock

I've heard that Lucky Savant/Hero frames are the lightest frames (but super rare, only a few were ever made), and the l7 may be the lightest bolt, but the Deadlywind hollowpoint is right there with a 9 gram bolt (it does have a stalk though, which increases weight overall). I personally chose the Deadlywind HP for my ion.

the savant is lighter but also nearly impossible to find and also well over 100 dollars if in good shape, on the bolt subject both are good i just prefer my l7

The Scorpion frame is the lightest frame that is still reasonably available. The Epiphany frame is roughly 25 grams heavier. The L7 is the lightest bolt overall, but the hollowpoint V2 reduces the cycling mass by 1.4g. The stock body/breech is surprisingly one of the lightest available (especially the xe version), however their was a version of the Lucky 5.1 that was noticeably lighter. If you want to make the body even lighter, you can remove 3/4 of the plastic, leaving the entire bottom(between breech and frame) and the ring to cover detents and secure the feedneck.

i have not seen a scorpion for sale in quite a while if any frame is more readily avalible it may be a sith frame i see those pop up more then anything else, but yes this post is right the stock body shell will be the lightest part unless you have one fabricated from a carbon fiber like material or you hack the stock shell to bits

Yea i recently got a sith frame in. I was given this ion as an experimental marker from my uncle.... It's fully up'ed but with all these aftermarket pieces not everything goes as planned. It's a huge headache and I'm never doing it again.
