Raza Becomes Official Apparel Sponsor for Houston Heat

HOUSTON, TX – Friday, February 8, 2013 – Houston Heat signs Raza as its official custom apparel sponsor for the 2013 season, bringing branded merchandise to Heat players and fans.

The championship team, which earlier announced it had re-signed G.I. Sportz and DLX Technologies, has brought another key industry player on board as it enters its second season.

“Raza’s vision of offering a quality product with great service is exactly what we were looking for in an apparel sponsor,” said Randy “Sarge” Smith, owner of Houston Heat. “Heat is a tight-knit group, so we felt it was important that we were able to look as cohesive as we feel. Todd and his team have offered us just that – an opportunity to literally wear our pride for our team on our sleeves.”

In addition to designing Houston Heat’s game jerseys for the PSP and Millennium Series, Raza is creating a full line of Heat-branded apparel, including tech shirts, shorts, headbands, barrel bags and other awesome wear.

“Our team at Raza Design and I are very excited for the new partnership with Houston Heat,” said Todd Martinez, owner of Raza. “We all share a mentality of hard work and discipline in order to grow and achieve our goals. Houston Heat has shown, in just a short time, how their dedication can lead to success. Raza hopes to help Houston Heat continue their journey with our full support and a line of fully custom apparel for the team and their fans.”

The Heat-branded Raza apparel will be available to fans soon through their favorite player or online. Be sure to check out Raza's website for all the new products from Raza and Houston Heat and stay tuned for details about the team’s Dallas 2013 jersey design.

GI, DLX and Raza - all 2013 sponsors. Raza is doing their jerseys, tech shirts, shorts, barrel bags etc. GI is their paint and gear, which means pants, pads, masks etc.

From what it seemed Style Supply has had a lot of trouble meeting the deadlines it sets for teams. I imagine this is Heats way of taking that out of the equation when it comes to Jersey's

But SS definitely provided entertainment in the form of putting "Momma George" on the field at MAO and adding a wee bit of confusion over Ryan Smith's number change from 11 to 12

Raza is the most professional jersey company we've ever dealt with. I think it's great that they're working with heat now. Looking forward to watching heat this upcoming season

SS takes FOREVER to get jerseys to anyone but their pro teams.
Raza has amazing customer service and can offer more products for fans of the team to purchase to show support of Heat. Also being based in America instead of Europe will help with deliver times and such

Honestly, I have no leg to stand on when it comes to SS, but after following the thread a few months back in News, I would never do business with them.

Paintball News Rules
  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
  2. Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
  3. If you don't like something, say why instead of just calling it ugly, lame, gay or any other name. If it is old, simply post a link or report the post with a link to the older News thread.
  4. Please don't post links for places to buy items. That encourages stores, sponsored players and other people to do it and spam the site.
