And deliberately not matching your gear so you "don't look like a noob" is even more lame, because you're insecure enough to let what others think dictate what you buy.
OP: If you want to buy all Dye gear, then go for it. If people make fun of you, shoot them in the face next game. They'll shut the hell up after that, trust me.

I mean I have Empire pants, dye mask, HK headband, PE pads, Dye barrel condom, so the only thing I actually ended up matching were my two dye things... xD ahaha I just looked for individual quality/looks/price. Not necessarily as a whole group of matching things. In my opinion getting the top notch (to you) of each type of gear is better than it all matching

get comfy stuff. play in pants and a beater if thats comfortable. thats what a few guys around here do when its warm, and people arent laughing at them. youll enjoy the game a whole lot more if your pads are not cutting your legs, and your beltline is comfortable, your pack is like a massage chair. That will make you play better then having matching brands for things you dont like

No one is going to care about what you wear on the paintball field. If you play like crap with mismatched gear, than others will know you play like crap. If you play good with your mismatched gear, than others will know you play good with mismatched gear.

At least around where I play all matched clothes is a sign of a person who's parents kitted them out from some online superstore. But it really doesnt matter. If you like the look of dye pants and a dye jersey, go for it. People thinking youre a noob could be an advantage.

Buy whatever you want, just not the stigma some carry against matching gear. I wear a lot of DYE stuff because they make some of the absolute best products in the industry, no matter what I compare it to. I may not have cool many cool points, but I let my gun and personality do the talkin, not my wallet.
Quick, before I go: Pros wear a lot of matching gear... why doesn't anyone gripe about their cool points?

And if a 33 year old has matching gear....it means they can afford to by what they want, and happen to like...
Get whatever you want, I like my Empire pants, Jersey and pack, if somebody else doesn't, who cares? You're the one playing with the gear, get what you want and what fits your budget. If somebody else is that worried about it they have too much time on their hands.

Because they get a decent amount of sponsorship money to wear one company's gear.

Just get whatever you like man **** what everybody else thinks. I look like a dye/PE fanboy but that's because I am. I love the dye i4's and rotor, and love my PE marker, then we got sponsored by a company that sells PE and Dye hence me having PE pads, pants and jersey cause there good quality and not retardedly expensive like Dye.

I try to keep the same colors. Don't care what brand it is. I have P.E. pants and recently got new arm pads. I bought the P.E. ones not because of brand but because when i tried them on, they are the ones that fit/felt best of the 4 the shop had. Wear what you want, if someone does not like it, shoot them in the goggles a few times. It may change there opinion.
