Clone GT leak question

Morning gents. Aired up my based today and was having a slight leak that sound like it was coming from the center of the bolt. Pushing on the bolt effected the speed of the leak. Also, if i turned the reg down the leak would slow and sometimes stop. If I turned the reg up a little bit, let it sit for a few seconds the leak would start slow, then gradually die off and seal up. I could then turn the pressure on the reg up a little more and again, the leak would start slow, then gradually fade again. Any ideas?

Check your drive orings. Pay special attention to power tube, valve and bolt switch. If you have any doubts, change them.

Yea i tried changing the orings on the valve and powertube last night. They looked ok but I did it anyway. That actually made the leak worse, but then again this was from an oring kit from ans and I've had bad luck with their orings in the past...

If the leak changed when you changed those o-rings it's a good bet one of them is a problem. Concentrate on the valve o-rings and make sure one at a time checking by hand, that they make good contact with the keg and feel as though they're making good contact with it.

You should also pressure test your gun to make sure your not over pressurized. make sure the reg. seat is ok

reg seat is mint. Don't have a pressure tester. Using a LP tank setup atm.

I'm gonna play around with the orings some more as suggested and we'll see what happens. Thanks for the help gents

Double post/ update!

So I found an old cyborg o ring kit I had from oring monkey and used it to replace the o rings on the valve. Seemed to seal a little be better, as I could turn up the reg a bit higher before that leak would resume. Took it out back despite the snow storm and chronoed it. Reg was set at the point right before the leak would linger which chronoed at around 315. So I guess greater than 315 I was getting a leak. Lowered it to around 290 and was shooting +- 8 in 20 degrees, so thats not too bad. I was getting random low spots of 260 but i'm going to attribute that to bolt stick. Shot a few ropes through with no visible drop so I guess its ok now. Will have to play with it next weekend to be sure. I dont remember having that leak on the higher side of velocity before but if it works it works. Thanks for the helps gents, I guess I should invest in a pressure tester to be sure.
