sound - quietest to loudest(although all are quiet)
Luxe/Victory, gt, dm

Luxe is probably the smoothest. Followed by the victory, gt, then the dm.

none of them really kick.

Efficiency from best to worst - gt - victory - dm - luxe

comfort - dm/victory, luxe, then gt

board - victory, luxe, gt, then dm

Just what I was looking for! That was a great comparison video, thanks for making it!

To me anyway, it usually seems like Luxe's are the quietest guns on the field, but i'm hoping this spool engine will turn some heads the next time i'm out. Kids these days need to realize the goodness that is BL

superlube on that one

I think it's a little too thick for cold weather use though to be honest.

I'll let the boys at the factory know.

People have been using it in their Bushmaster rams for years. It might be too thick for a spool bolt though.

cool good to know.

the spool motor came with all the o-rings bone dry, except the ones on the blue ram(?) looking piece. That was covered in thick lube, which i'm guessing was superlube.

The stock lube Empire includes with their markers is almost identical to SuperLube. If you have some of that laying around it would work perfectly. I thought someone from Bob Long said earlier in this thread that Dow 33 could also be used.

How do I take the bolt apart? I can't unscrew the red bolt from the blue guide.

I would use rubber from a strap wrench to pad the parts and a vice wrench to get them apart. You might be able to hold the stem with the vice wrench and unscrew the bolt with another strap wrench as well.

I'm glad to hear the bolt securely stays on the stem.

Maybe to lube it? A lot of us like to mess around with our new toys too. I always take something completely apart when I get it. It lets you figure out how it works and see where orings are that might need to be lubed or replaced if a problem arises. The real question is why would you not want to take it apart?

Yep, gotta know how it works. I'm still learning with mine. As I figure out tricks and stuff, I'll try to post them.

I just wrapped some electrical tape around the red bolt and held it with my pliers. Then I used my allen key and unscrewed the back blue section.

There may be a better way, but I've not messed with it a lot

Thanks tim that was great! Oh and my droid is quiter than both but it does have something like 500 cases through it!

Can't wait to get my hands on one of these new vcoms. Now its the decision to get a ripper and the vcom bolt or the new victory all together...hmmm.
