If you have a perfect spool engine, can you post a pic?

I am trying to troubleshoot a problem. I need to see what a non-leaking spool engine looks like from the side as close as possible, with the whole engine in the picture.

No, it's not. I asked specifically for what I wanted because it's no where else. So please stop suggesting a thread that I have already reviewed and noted it lacks the data I am looking for.

If this isn't what you are looking for then be more specific.

it sucks to hear so many people having trouble with their VCOM engines. It's ignorant that they release a product without a manual available anywhere. Luckily for me i just lubed mine up and it shot 2 pods fine. GL

Thanks febo. I am looking at the front brass and body section. It doesn't look like you have the brass body gap. Anyone else have a perfectly functional spool engine? Hoping to get 4 pictures.

PS My spool leaked before I got real generous with the lube on the orings. Now it works rock solid. And others have had that brass gap and their spoolies worked.

The main thing the gap caused was difficulty getting the bolt pin in place.

My engine had about a case through it at the weekend and was flawless. The brass does not leak but does move forward once the marker airs up, making the back cap harder to lift. All i need to do is push the back cap forward before pulling it up and it comes out fine.

GoblyGoop what is your engines problem ?

I have the same brass-can gap. I was trying to figure out if it increases the leaks or has no effect. People are reporting the need to swap the 6's with 7's on the bottom. My wonder is if that gap moves the bottom holes out of alignment enough to cause that problem. I have had 3 engines since they came out all with leaks and the brass-can gap. I wanted to get enough information so we could post that the gap will not effect the performance and reliability and focus on the leak at the middle oring and bottom orings.

It takes about 5 shots before my engine doesn't leak any more and I have followed every guide out about how to deal with the leaks. Just trying to help people out, but needed enough data to make a positive statement.

You should send it back, it should not be moving at all. Mine worked fine, but I sent it back anyway cause of that gap.

Well if you are gathering information my Engine leaked on arrival because the 018 and #25 O-rings had not been installed. However after i installed them It has been working fine even though the front brass brass part moves slightly.
