Slick lube is fine, just don't smear it on like frosting on a cake

dont worry about it. Its kinda hard to put to much grease on and cause problems. If it makes you feel better, post a picture of the bolt after you grease it.
the big deal is the noid with the factory gunk. If it works good with just a bolt relube, then dont worry about it.

usually the gun will function with just a bolt relube. It might have a little bolt stick or inconsistent shots if the noid is having trouble. Try to use it first, that way when you do decide to re grease the noid, youl know if you made it better.. or worse haha
youl do fine. Have you read my thread? http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=3457681

regulator should be fine, not much goes on inside of it. Would not hurt to grease it though and familiarize your self with it. Id say to do the regulator and noid once a season after you initially re grease them
re grease the bolt every time you play and possibly half way through your day if you notice the bolt sticking on the first shot (assuming it was not prior to that)

We are here 24/7.. well for the most part haha
The noid is not hard, the best thing you can do is prep the area around you. keep it clean and try not to be harsh on the orings on the noid. I tend to pack the piston with grease.. not a **** ton but i deff dont just lightly coat it. Works well everytime, this is how i have done it with lurker lube for the past 3 years.

Biggest thing with the G4 just seems to be getting the factory lube off of the bolt.

techt bolt is a good upgrade, i support it.
the bolt stick comes from a the factory grease. It is not as slick as the greases we recommend. originally, alot of the g4s had stick problems and relubing the bolt and noid fixed this problem.
if the noid piston cannot move, the gun will just puff when you pull the trigger. Not a big deal, just re grease and carry on. Most people panic and sell the gun for cheep.
i cant count on two hands how many people i have helped where all they had to do was calm down and re grease.

dwell is still..kind of.. a foreign concept to me, i sort of do but sort of dont understand how changing it helps and hurts, does uping the dwell give you higher velocity, does lowering it give you better efficentcy and consistancy? or does it even affect that?
