Im sending my gun to have some writing put on it. I just wanted to know how small can I expect them to go? Here is a what I want done. I just made this in paint and sent it to get a quote.

The only person who's going to know that is the company that is doing the lasering. I can tell you that lasering can get down into thousandths of an inch, narrower than a peice of paper. However it all depends on their specific set up

Eclipse is sending it to their laser guy so im sure they have good equipment. I guess I was trying to ask how small could I go and still be able to see it good. I was looking online to find some detailed work and it seems to look good.

If you want to know how visible it will be open Microsoft notepad, type it in various font sizes and print it. Then you get to actually see it

Using a Trotec laser, with a clean lens, proper layout, 85% power, and a 15V speed you can laser clear visible letters (with a magnifying lens to view) in aluminum .0008-.001 in height. Depending on the Laser you have, it is exactly like printing a picture out on a printer

Ok, great. thats exactly what I was looking for.

No problem. I work at a high end machining facility and we use a laser to mark our parts, so that's how I know.
