Foam Replacement Advice

Hey guys I just bought an I4 and it has no top foam and I see there are replacement kits available for it from Dye but I also see there is an Empire Foam Replacement kit. My question is which one would be best since I can see differences in the foam?

Dye mask, so might as well go with Dye. You know it'll fit perfectly, rather than gamble on it.

Get the Dye Foam, I doubt the empire foam is made to fit the i4. I actually just replaced the foam in a pair of Sly Profits today. Be prepared to supply your own adhesive. I went to Wal-Mart and purchased Loc-Tite Epoxy for Plastics (make sure its for plastic). Make sure you clean all of the old foam and glue and use some rubbing alcohol to get any left over oils or residue off. After everything is clean and dry, mix up the epoxy. Using a flat stick or putty knife, apply a thin layer of epoxy all the way around the surface where the foam mounts. The tricky part is now holding everything in place for about 3-5 minutes until its set enough that it doesnt peel back. make sure the foam lines up nicely as it sets, and try not to get it all over the place. Good luck, mine turned out pretty well, I'm happy with it and wouldn't hesitate to replace my foam again.

Epoxy? Are you insane? Use rubber cement.

if their not to much, get both...i personally like the empire foam much more than the i4 stock foam...get a events/eflex/proflex foam kit..if you like it, you can cut it to fit...if not, you can just use the dye foam then
