1966 Mustang EFI Project
Well, I'd like to share my 1966 Mustang EFI project with y'all. What i've got is a 66 Mustang used to be a 289 c4, nothing special however it ran just fine for what it was. Little things started bothering me and one thing leads to another I have the car stripped to a shell doing a 302 bored .040 over out of a fox body and the t5 doing an EFI Conversion.
So Far, I've replaced the entire floor, an entire quarter panel, various other rusty body panels, 4 wheel disc brakes, manual rack and pinion, and the list goes on and on.
This is a picture of what it was, before it was parked.
Slowly made it's way to a shell of a car
And before you know it...
Start spending money... Ie Rack and Pinion Disc Brakes etc.
Picked up a EFI 302 out of a 90 Fox
T5 Transmission
American Racing Rims Running 245 rear 235 up front.
Got that Engine in the back of the truck bored .040 over went with some Kieth Black flat tops tfs1 cam and what not. Also went with upgraded Gt40 upper and lower
Last major thing that I did was door skin and Quarter
I have a ton more pictures and a bunch more things in detail if anyone has any questions comments concerns or just your 2 cents throw em my way.
Appreciate it guys.

Appreciate it man, however as much as a Chevrolet man I am (Despite of owning a ford) I couldn't put a Chevrolet engine in a ford. Sacrilege IMO.

I'm not trying to talk crap, its a nice car, but doesnt the crank main look weak? Ive never seen in a ford engine. But also my chevy engines were 4 bolt mains, and maybe im just crazy.

Nah man She'll do just fine, Upon working on Chevrolet engines as well it's not that much of a difference that I've noticed.

Sick man! Yeah I mean obviously Ford, Chevy. Night and day but Crank main... Not that different. I would Love to run a Supercharger on my mustang eventually I know I can run a Centrifugal like a Paxton or something. You can get them relatively cheap. However, definitely want to keep up with your build looks like a great build, what's it going in?

Got my EFI tank in, prepped my trunk area with rust encapsulate (I love that stuff) and got my steering column all IN and ready to go, next is timing chain for my engine, then I'll drop the engine in the car and see where my lines need to be ran. Ie Brake lines, fuel lines etc.
