and just when i was leaning towards the luxe in my new gun search this happens lol. anyone close to macdev know if this will be available for free to current gt owners? no way im buying a new gt if this is going to come out and then i need to pay for the upgrade as opposed to just waiting to buy one that already has the gti installed.

It won't be free. I would also GUESS that a clone GTi will cost more with this board and sensor (or however they do it) setup to read psi.
Sounds like a very expensive board even without that feature.

When I started playing paintball, I was more or less ignorant to any pressure inputs/outputs from my tank/reg/marker.

When I became more aware of pressure differences in markers, I got very into it and made it important to myself. Went all sorts of out of the way to get water filled gauges etc. to get the most accurate measurements.

12+ years later, I could care less for having pressure gauges, digital or otherwise. I know when my markers are operating correctly and what I can do to tune them to my personal preference.

This board is not something I am terribly interested in. But certainly not something I wouldn't want in my marker given the choice.

Must be a pressure sensor somewhere in the solenoid. wonder if the new noids have this pressure sensing capability built in already?

I would assume not. Took them a lot of effort to get the solenoid correct. However maybe that's the reason why…

what would be the benefits of a pressure sensor? Would it be able to adapt the bolt speed automatically?
