The layouts typically released two weeks before the tourney date - thats how it works. But, it never hurts to ask.

30th is exactly 2 weeks. We host a scenario event on the 6th and won't be able to practice it a week before.

So, if the 30th is 2 weeks out from the tourney (and you know that's the earliest it would be released) why would you ask if you could get it before? I'm not trying to be a dick, just a little confused by the question and your reply to mine.

Whatever man.
As any paintball goes. Only rely on what you know not what someone tells you.

Last years AES series layouts were released long before the events. So "typically"not always the case. But I'm sure you already knew that.
Search button is your friend.

and that's why i said "typically" - jeez. How early was the layout for the delayed Event #1 released? (Rhetorical - don't need to search for this one)
I did forget that last year all the potential layouts were posted (A,B,C and D) way before the event series began, but the layout used for a particular event was not posted until 2 weeks prior. Didn't remember if one was posted earlier than that, but if you searched it out, kudos to you sir. (No dodgy)

That would be incorrect. We are less than two weeks away from Avid north #2. No layout released. Last years avid layouts were all released on the same date a month prior to first event. So "always have" and "typically" don't apply here.
Ryan, we will be in Chicago the weekend before the tentative reschedule of North Event #1. Couple of the boys are concerned about the back to back weekends financially. Although I do cover much of the cost they still have some of their own. We will make it work no matter what you decide.
E Legion is coming down to practice against Graffiti on the 7th. We postponed our scenario event to get a practice in on the Layout.
Thanks,
Richard Zimmerman

Absolutely my fault Richard. I apologize for being a couple of days late. To many events close together is starting to clog my brain.

No problem. We'll get it set once to look at. Its not like I haven't seen it played over and over again. It's been a very busy spring. Plus 24" of snow in two weeks put the kabash on everybody's plans.

The weather in the North is one of the factors of us choosing this layout. We figured you all have hours of video you can watch, even if you can't play it.
